Commercial Active Member is any entity providing arboricultural services for profit. Commercial Active members have voting
power. Annual dues are based on number of employees:
0 – 5 employees - $230.00
6 – 10 employees - $345.00
11 – 15 employees - $460.00
16 or more - $575.00
Commercial Active Members must carry the following insurance: Workers Compensation as required by law; Public Liability of $100,000/$300,000; and Property Damage of $50,000. Proof of insurance must be included with the application.
Individual Active Member is any practicing arborist employed by an entity not providing arboricultural services for profit (i.e. state or municipal arborist). One individual Active Member per entity has voting privileges. Annual Dues are $150.00.
Associate Member is a manufacturer or distributor of equipment, materials, and supplies to the tree care industry. Annual Dues are $275.00.
Affiliate Member is an employee of a Commercial Active Member who will receive all regular mailings of the MAA but will have non-voting status. Annual Dues are $40.00.
Student Membership is open to fulltime students enrolled in horticultural programs. Student membership carries no voting privileges, A photocopy of current student i.d. is required. Annual Dues are $25.00.
